Introduction
Hindley Circuits Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced NPI Manager to join an expanding electronics manufacturing company in the North East, who have ambitious plans for business expansion. This is a developing role within the company and will head up the NPI team. The following represent the main functions of the role and are the primary responsibilities of the individual:
- Manage all non-commercial aspects involved in planning and the successful implementation of new manufacturing products within the business, including:
- Resource Planning
- Project Management
- Hands-on involvement in setting up processes and programmes
- Ensure all internal NPI documentation is fully completed and of the correct standard and improve where necessary
- Effectively manage team members and other Hindley Circuits Ltd staff involved in the process
Candidate Requirements
The Person: –
- Previous experience working in a similar NPI role (ideally within Electronics or Mechanical/Engineering sectors)
- Experienced in electronic manufacturing processes
- Experience of leading a small team
- Have a “can do” attitude, proven ability to deliver, a self-starter
- Have excellent communications skills (verbal & written)
- Demonstrate strong analytical abilities
- Attention to detail
- Project Management skills including managing timelines effectively
- Ability to convey technical data in a concise manner
- Excellent listener (can take on board advice from senior management)
- Excellent problem solver and able to rectify any issues.
- Excellent IT skills
