Timeline

2016

HC formed through acquisition of assets of Opsol UK- privately funded

2017

A major training initiative implemented to standardise on J STD soldering and IPC 610 Class 3 inspection across the business

Investment in 2 new Yamaha SMT placement machines to improve reliability and accuracy

2018

Our first Koh Young 3D Automated inspection system is commissioned.

Business Development team re-focussed on- markets that have longevity for UK contract manufacturing – Customers that need high quality / high reliability products with an agile service requirement in the UK and beyond.

2021

Another major investment made in on site X Ray Chamber capability for BGA.

2022

Decision taken to double our manufacturing and storage space by annexing a neighbouring factory unit for targeted expansion in complete product build.

Capital investment continues in Automated de-ionised wash plant and immersive automated conformal coat facilities built

Addition of two environmental chambers in response to customer demand for extended testing.

2023

Investment continues in Koh Young In line automated solder paste inspection system and new stencil cleaning plant

Full refurbishment of unit C underway workspace services designed for ease of reconfiguration where needed

Unit B has full anti static floor / copper matrix replaced

2024

Unit 2C now complete enhancing our box build capacity and storage needs.

Our business and our reputation for delivery continues to grow FY7 exceeds £10M revenue for the first time

Decision taken to commit to all Yamaha SMT placement machines and treble capacity – with commissioning in June 24 we will have one of the most comprehensive SMT placement platforms in operation in the UK.

2025 & Beyond

By 2025 we expect to Attain ISO13485 and ISO14001 accreditation
